Cramping but no period 2 days late

Why do I spot but having no period? Is it normal to have your period but no cramps? What is bleeding no period? Is it possible to ovulate days after period? Hi we are activly trying, I am days late on my period and have been getting mild period type cramps.

I have not done a test yet as I thought my period would turn up some point.
