Derealization anxiety

What does derealization feel like? Can anxiety cause depersonalization? Can you die from anxiety disorder? What are symptoms of separation anxiety?


Other anxiety symptoms may make the feeling of derealization worse. During anxiety attacks your pupils may dilate, and this can cause unusual vision.

Anxiety may also weaken your muscles, making you feel lighter. It tells you you’re in mortal danger when you’re safe. Interfere with work, relationships or daily activities.


Treatment first requires ruling out other conditions, such as schizophrenia, dissociative disorders, brain trauma, and substance use and abuse.
