Depression manifesting as anger

Why is my Depression turning into anger? Is this form of anger a symptom of major depression? Why do I feel depressed and angry? Can anger be the cause of depression?

I always think of someone all sad and mopey, and not functioning but with so much anger. Sigmund Freud used to refer to depression as anger turned inward. But there is something else there that I find FANTASTIC! I get so overwhelmed with everyday life with anxiety on top of it, that I have rage episodes myself (I don't have urges to hurt anyone, I mainly break stuff lol that or a shit storm of foul language lol) therapy would be a good way to teach you how to cope with things.
