Depression feeling alone

What does it mean to feel alone when you have depression? How to stop feeling alone and depressed? Does being alone make you depressed? Is feeling empty a sign of depression? Feeling lonely can plague many people — including the elderly, people who are isolate and those with depression — with symptoms such as sadness, isolation, and withdrawal.


Loneliness can strike a person who lives alone or someone who lives in a house filled with people.

Feeling alone or feeling lonely in a relationship is more common than you’d think. While some people describe depression as “living in a black hole” or having a feeling of impending doom, others feel lifeless, empty, and apathetic.
