Well, you can take a break and recharge your batteries because that is sometimes simply what is needed. Or you can do what I quite often do when I am having an uninspired morning. I get started anyway, despite the lack of motivation within.
A sign of depression can be lacking the motivation to do things you used to enjoy doing. Some stress is goo but when it outweighs coping, it might be a factor in why you’re feeling depressed.
If you can’t cut some of your responsibilities, consider assessing where the expectations you feel are coming from (i.e. someone else, or yourself), and take some of the pressure off. Every Monday I like to post a reader question and take a stab at answering it! Tiredness is defined as lack of energy and motivation, which means that the two are related. If you ’re tire you ’re most likely also unmotivated.
So if you find that you ’re suddenly feeling depressed for no reason, examine how you are taking care of yourself. If you are not doing a good job try to make a change. You might find your depression lifts if you do.
Rather, you ’re sitting somewhere closer to. If you set the same expectations for yourself that you had when you weren’t feeling depressed (which is sometimes just getting dressed), you ’re going to feel anxious and overwhelme and probably won’t do the task you expected from yourself (and thus will feel defeated and ashamed). Being unmotivated leads to unproductivity then depression, set a goal make it hard yet reasonable, always raise the goal or make a new one once you reach it.
