Feeling low and empty

But to stop feeling empty when the sensation only bubbles up occasionally, there are simple things you can do yourself, such as journaling. It’s not uncommon for people to report feeling empty in intimate relationships. This emptiness may stem from different causes and can appear in short or long-term. It can be momentary, situational, or if long-lasting, a symptom of a serious condition or related to substance abuse.


Many of us feel empty in different ways.

Perhaps you’re mad at yourself for not getting the house cleane not getting your work done, or not getting those papers filed. Over time, people can drift apart or take each other for grante and you might feel like your spouse just doesn’t “get you” anymore. And even though you know you are sa that you are empty , you can’t put your finger on the why.


Sometimes we get an empty feeling down deep inside of us that we are so alone. When the stomach is empty for long periods and if the blood glucose levels are low , we feel this emptiness as the sensation of hunger. However, sometimes this empty stomach feeling persists despite eating.

Remember You Aren’t the First to Feel. You feel empty , because you’re on a mission to be pretty. So you get your eyebrows threaded and you get your hair dyed.


You paint your lips red and line your eyes with black. You’re still a mess on the inside, even when you’re supermodel-pretty on the outside. No professional even knows what to do. When you open to learning with a source of higher guidance about the truth of who you are, and about what is loving action toward yourself and others, you open to the love-that-is-God coming into your heart and filling your inner emptiness. Lack of nicotine also means losing the companion that you thought helped you manage everything from anger to fatigue, which leaves most new ex-smokers feeling empty and adrift for a time.


Luckily, for most, the condition is a byproduct of smoking cessation and is temporary. When you strip away a big part of your life, you feel expose empty , and vulnerable. During the time after my breakup, I experienced deep feelings of unshakable loneliness. And I still suffer with these feelings from time to time.


We’ve all had bad days and sad days, and while it’s tempting to crawl under a blanket and stay there when you’re feeling low.

Existential crisis: A loss of a loved one, or the loss of a job, can leave you feeling as if your role on this planet no longer exists. When you are unable to find meaning, you suffer from emptiness. I feel alone in this world.


Emptiness inside of me. I really have no clue of who is really me. Can anyone explain why i feel so low and empty , i am married to a hard working man have kids, struggle with jobs and money like many others, have huge prpblems with grown up daughters but on the whole we cope ok. And therein lies the key to that empty feeling inside. Some of the other symptoms of depression include feeling sad or empty , losing interest in activities that you once enjoye changes in appetite or weight, feeling worthless or guilty, and having recurring thoughts of death or suicide.


Answer: Unfortunately, all Christians have feelings of spiritual emptiness from time to time. Fortunately, God knew it would happen and has given us a lot of helpful advice in His Word. Other common core wounds that arise as a product of feeling unwanted include, “I am not worth it,” “I am unlovable,” and “I am irreparably broken. We have found ourselves in a period of time which I like to call the Individualist Era.


In Western culture Sociology, philosophy, and psychology. In the West, feeling empty is often viewed as a negative condition. Psychologist Clive Hazell, for example, attributes feelings of emptiness to problematic family backgrounds with abusive relationships and mistreatment.
