Brooke shields postpartum

Read an excerpt from Down Came the Rain. And That is Where My Troubles Began. At the event, she spoke about her experience with postpartum depression and about the stigma of mental illness.

I was just happy to be out of my dress. We put the little one in a Moses basket. Then, in an attempt to gain control, I decided to unpack immediately and tidy up the house. Chris kindly reminded me that I’d just had a baby and the tidying up could wait.
