What is it like living with depression

What is it like to live with depression? What does living with depression everyday feel like? Can you really pull yourself out of depression? What to do when you are feeling lonely, lost and depressed?

Most of the time, living with bipolar disorder is just like living without it. Schizophrenia is a psychotic disorder when a person usually experiences hallucinations, delusions and extreme paranoia which makes them lose contact with reality and not understand what is real and what is not as they believe the. Depression is much more than a bad mood.


It’s a disorder that casts a shadow over a person’s thoughts, feelings, perceptions of the worl and their relationships with others. This makes living with someone who has depressed quite the challenging task. As you probably know, I have the misfortune of living with both a severe anxiety disorder and clinical depression.


Firstly, to understand what living with both feels like , you need to understand them separately to understand how they dramatically contrast each other.

One minute you’re standing on firm groun and the next minute you’re falling into a pit of darkness. People with severe depression and the need to actually make a living often. Some days you feel okay, other days you feel sad. Difficulties abound when living with a depressed partner.


Because of symptoms like apathy, a partner’s needs may not be met. In a relationship, each partner will make attempts to feel love from. Read some helpful tips for living well when you have depression.

My name is Jackie, I was diagnosed with severe, recurrent major depression just three years ago at the age of 42. It was the time when i was in 11th class and a girl came into my life. Everything went smoothly till the end of class 12th.


We use to hangout, celebrate and share love with each other.

It can cause long-lasting and severe feelings of sadness, hopelessness, and a loss of interest in activities. People living with this disorder also have periods of depression and alternate. I felt sick with the fear of night time because that’s when the voices got even louder.


I didn’t want to wake up because living was a nightmare. I would get so frustrated because it seemed impossible to sleep, as if insomnia and depression go hand in hand. I knew I needed help but asking for it just made me feel like a burden. Or, you may be wondering what living with depression is like because you have a loved one that is depressed. Manic depressive disorder, now known as bipolar disorder , is a mental illness characterized by cycling high and low moods.


A cycling mood disorder has been written about as a clear mental illness since early Chinese authors and was described by the encyclopedist Gao Lian in the late 16th century.
