Manic high

What can trigger manic episodes? A person experiencing a manic episode is. Bipolar disorder (sometimes called manic depression) is a mental health condition where people experience extreme highs , called mania , and intense periods of sadness or depression. These phases of mania and depression are called episodes, and can shift rapidly. Bipolar manic episodes are not just feeling good or high , they are moods that are beyond reason and cause major distress and life impairment.
