Teacher depression

How can a teacher help a depressed student? How does depression affect teachers? Do teachers care about depressed students? When the teacher is depressed? Don’t let depression and anxiety steal your love of teaching or your ability to enjoy life.


It takes up every ounce of the whole self, but generally “fills your bucket” in many other ways.

Every year, teachers by the thousands report symptoms of depression or anxiety. I’ve expressed this many times myself. So let’s take a look at some of the things. Know the general signs of depression.

The teacher should talk to the student privately to discuss their concerns. Students should be referred to school counselors for help.
