Eye phobia

What is the phobia of closing your eyes called? What phobia is the fear of people staring at you? Is trypophobia a real phobia?


Ommetaphobia develops when someone has a bad situation or traumatic event occur in their life involving eyes (i.e., seeing an eye pop out of the socket, getting hit in the eye, going blind in an eye, etc.). Symptoms: Friends of the Fear.

Every case of eye phobia is a little different. Because the core of the problem – the patterns of thinking, the images, movies, sounds and dialog that are internally associated with eyes – are different in each person.
