Mindfulness has also been shown to help individuals who feel lonely. Being depressed and feeling alone is a horrible place to be! Fortunately, there are things you can do to stop feeling depressed , isolated and lost all the time.
I do suffer from depression but I manage to bounce back very well. One thing I do have a big problem with is what feels like separation anxiety of sorts. Being there for them is so important, but being there can mean different things.
And if you ’re like me, I need my loved ones to be there for me from a distance. There are three reasons why I like to be alone during a depressive episode, and because they want to do whatever they can to help me, my friends and family oblige. The worst thing you can do is stay home, in your room all alone and contemplate about how miserable you are. If you cannot stop your mind from going that direction, try to keep yourself busy.
Go out and do something.
